Since 1959, West Coast Training has prepared individuals for careers as heavy equipment and crane operators. The campus is located approximately 45 minutes north of Portland International Airport, on the banks of the Columbia River near Woodland, Washington. The program combines an industry-aligned curriculum, experienced instructors, and a well-maintained fleet of equipment. Operated by a small team, training is delivered in compact cohorts that begin every four weeks.
Until late 2018, daily inquiries (10–15 on average) arrived by email, phone or e-mail. Tom recalls rifling through paper files to track prospects: “It was somewhat cumbersome. It worked, but… things could fall through the cracks.” Manual handoffs between admissions, registrar and career services introduced delays and made re-engaging past leads almost impossible.
In December 2018, the school adopted LeadSquared. By February 2019, six core users—including Tom, registrar and career-services lead—were operating from a unified dashboard. “LeadSquared is up all day.
