How Lincoln Tech and LeadSquared Are Applying AI to Student Enrollment
Lincoln Tech Extends Its LeadSquared Partnership into Applied AI for Enrollment
Building on its established CRM relationship, Lincoln Tech is deploying purpose-built AI agents within its enrollment operations, with responsible adoption and human oversight at the center.
LeadSquared, an AI-powered system of engagement for fast-moving, consumer-facing businesses, and Lincoln Educational Services Corporation (NASDAQ: LINC), a national provider of specialized technical training that operates 22 campuses in 12 states, today announced an extension of their long-standing partnership into applied artificial intelligence. The two organizations are deploying AI agents within Lincoln Tech's enrollment operations through LeadEdge, LeadSquared’s innovation center.
Founded in 1946, Lincoln Tech served more than 17,000 students in 2025 across programs in skilled trades, automotive, health sciences, and information technology. The institution has used LeadSquared to manage its admissions and enrollment operations for years. That history provides a strong foundation for introducing AI agents that use trusted data and fit within counselors’ current workflows. It also allows the initiative to be incorporated into daily operations and measured against Lincoln Tech’s current results. The first agents will focus on points in the enrolment process where a fast, consistent response can help a prospective student move forward.
The collaboration spans the enrollment journey rather than focusing on any single point. Working through LeadEdge, the teams are applying AI at points where prospective students may be most likely to disengage. These include, the speed of the first response to a new inquiry, identifying and prioritizing prospective students who are ready to move forward, supporting the accuracy and completeness of applications, the re- engagement of prospective students who have gone quiet, and giving leaders greater visibility into changes in enrollment activity before they affect results. The intent is not to add intelligence at one stage, but to make the entire path from first inquiry to enrollment faster, more consistent, and more measurable.
The first agents are being deployed now, and the two organizations expect to expand their work to additional stages of the student journey as the initiative matures. Results will be measured against Lincoln Tech's current operations and shared over time.
Governance has been a priority from the start, reflecting how Lincoln Tech and LeadSquared approach technology in a regulated environment. Each agent operates within a controlled scope and performs defined tasks. Established rules guide its actions, each action is recorded in an audit trail, and human oversight remains in place for key decisions. The agents’ level of autonomy will expand only after results have been evaluated and the approach has been proven effective. This structure is intended to ensure Lincoln Tech can understand and account for the actions taken by the system.
Jay Rasmussen, Senior Vice President of Admissions, Lincoln Tech — “Our goal is to make it easier for prospective students to take the next step toward a career they can build on. By applying AI thoughtfully within the admissions process, we can help our teams respond faster, identify where a student may need additional support, and provide a more consistent experience—while keeping our admissions professionals at the center of the relationship. This partnership gives us a responsible, measurable way to strengthen student engagement and help more individuals move confidently from inquiry to enrollment.”
Prithwi Dasgupta, President – North America, LeadSquared – “For Lincoln Tech, the collaboration reflects a broader commitment to embracing emerging technology in service of its students and its mission. For LeadSquared, it demonstrates how LeadEdge partners with leading organizations to move AI from concept to real operational impact, responsibly, measurably, and with people at the center. The collaboration focuses on the moments across the student journey where speed, consistency, and personal attention matter most. Together, the teams are applying AI across key enrollment operations. The two organizations will continue to build on this foundation in the months ahead.”
